The Chef
Eva Kontaki
I have always had a passion and love for cooking
But everything started to fall into place when we moved as a family to Melbourne, Australia because my husband is Greek Australian.
There, I was given the opportunity to indulge in my great love (after my son Michael-Angelo) cooking. I studied commercial cooking at one of the most prestigious colleges in Melbourne and obtained the title of chef.

Part of my studies are specifically in nutrition related to health and different cuisines. There, I also discovered a slight intolerance to gluten.
I am very lucky because I have worked and been inspired by different cultures and different people. Almost over 200 languages are spoken in Melbourne. Imagine what happens in their kitchens. Since then, I feel like a citizen and a cook of the world and I am very happy about it.
When we came back to Greece, I thought I'd start something with the healthy and gluten-free diet.
Since 2020 in Psirri, in down town Athens, I have had my own café bistro, Nudie Foodie Psiri. I serve healthy nutritious dishes strictly without gluten, with many vitamins and many colours. I think that a dish necessarily needs colours to first fill the soul and then the stomach.
I use fresh seasonal ingredients and lots of super foods.
Since 2021 I have been writing my own recipes, sexy and delicious, in the magazine Real News, “Taste and Style”.
I have started this page to share stories about emotion and food with you.
You are all welcome
